"I needed bulkhead doors replaced on a 1925 house that is on the ocean. I was not going to use steel by the ocean; the upkeep was a losing battle - salt and steel do not mix. The builders of these doors are coming out in fiberglass, but only in a few sizes, none of which fit my size opening. I needed a custom built door. Mr. Trudeau and I went over the design and hardware. The door is constructed from PVC materials. Channels were cut in for water flow and all hardware is stainless steel. The doors were put in three years ago and still look
